From medical professions to eldercare lawyers to architects and community planners, the options for working with and on behalf of the aging are almost limitless. 

April 1-7, 2012 is national Careers in Aging Week. It's an annual event to celebrate the contributions of those who work with older adults as well as to highlight the educational opportunities available in aging studies, also known as gerontology.

The University of Indianapolis Center for Aging & Community is planning several events for students, faculty and staff who are on campus. 

The Center invites those not in the Indianapolis area to visit our website to learn more about our online learning opportunities, including an undergraduate certificate, two graduate certificate and our Program of Merit-designated online Master's of Science in Gerontology.
